HOW TO DESIGN A WEBSITE?

SHOULD I HIRE A PROFESSIONAL WEB DESIGNER?

If you want the best website to fit your unique needs then you have arrived at the right site. My name is Britty Brooks I was born in Maryland where I have since moved to serval different states which include: Texas, North Carolina, Virginia and South Carolina. Let’s just say I was city raised but country at heart. In traveling to these different states I have exercised the love of photography by capturing the moment and using a webpage to implement my ideas. With the huge community that creates the tools of tomorrow staying abreast of the web development has become second nature to me. I must add, you’ll realize I enjoy what I am doing being a web developer.

Mobile Friendly Website

Significantly improve your users experience with tools to help create a responsive website. Current trends indicate that more and more people are using their mobile devices to surf the web and outnumbering desktop internet use. This means the opportunity for your business to engage your target audience will take place on mobile devices and tablets more frequently than ever before.

Website Backup & Security

If a hacker gains control over your website, this may result in losing all data, content, and files from your site. Components like plug-ins, software, themes, and back-end programming might be at risk. While the hackers do not know the importance of the content that was created this is a huge issue and we at MCloud Designs are aware of the severity of the situation. Features like safety, security, or solving any issues require proper backup in case of any damage. Contact us now to learn more britty@mintedcloud.com.

FAQ

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

A). What pages should I include on my website?

It is important that you create a plan, which lists all the pages you wish to include before gathering content. Below is a list of the most commonly used pages:
~ Home Page (First Page)
~ About Us
~ Products / Services
~ Contact Us
~ Pricing
~ Testimonials / Product Reviews
~ Frequently Asked Questions
~ “Subscribe” or “Inquiry” form
~ Resources
~Events Calendar
~ Search My Website Feature
~ Terms / Conditions Policy

B). How do I choose a design for my website?

Think of a color scheme made up of 2-3 complementary colors. If your company has a logo then you should base your color scheme off of the colors you are currently using. But if you’re still not sure what color scheme to choose, surf the web for a website that you like. You can then model your color scheme on what already exists.
Another option is to choose a template. There are many templates or pre-set designs. These templates can be customized to suit your business. Templates allow you to see what your website will look like before you spend any money. I would suggest you stick to a basic or neutral website which doesn’t have any graphics if you are planning to add a lot of your own pictures and photos. This way your photos will stand out.
Naturally, your designer is a good source of information. If you are looking for a custom website contact MCloud Designs above, we can design one for you from scratch, but knowing your preferable colors would be a great help.

C.) Do I really need a website?

If you consider the benefits, the answer is pretty clear:

(a) Professional image – Keep up with the times and your competitors. If your clients are asking whether you have a website, now you can answer “I will tomorrow”.

(b) Time saver – Don’t spend hours on the phone, direct customers to your website, where you can provide all the information they need. Whether it be your product or service list, pricing, business hours or simply directions.
(c) Save money – Instead of paying for large advertising, simply advertise on your website.
(d) Be flexible – Change the content as your business changes. No need for flyer prints.
(e) Save money – Email customers news about your products.
(f) Gain exposure – You will reach more local clients as well as interstate and global markets.
(g) Open 24/7 – Provide customers information when they need it. If you don’t someone else will.
